Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026
Short version: We collect the bare minimum to run accounts and the gallery. We don’t sell your data, and there are no third-party ad or analytics trackers. You can delete your projects and shared templates at any time.

1. What we collect

DataWhy
Email addressTo create your account and let you sign in. Stored as-is.
PasswordStored only as a secure one-way bcrypt hash — we never see or store your actual password.
Discord ID, username & avatar (if you use Discord sign-in)To create/link your account and show your name in the gallery.
Your saved projectsThe pixel data and settings you choose to save to the cloud, so you can reopen them.
Published templatesBuilds you choose to share publicly, plus your display name and a thumbnail.
A session cookieA single essential cookie (sid) that keeps you signed in. No tracking cookies.

Images you convert are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly save a project or publish a template.

2. What we don’t do

3. Third parties

If you choose Discord sign-in, Discord processes your login according to their own privacy policy. Otherwise, data is stored on our own server infrastructure.

4. Your choices

5. Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use an HTTP-only cookie, and traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to follow sensible practices for a project of this size.

6. Children

PixelForge isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). Please don’t create an account if you’re under that age.

7. Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change, and revise the “last updated” date above.

Non-affiliation
